Title:Ā What Yāall Sippinā Tonight? My Favorite Tea for Winding Down
Blog Post:
What yāall sippin' tonightttt? šāØ
Me? I love me a good ole cup of tea to calm down. To turn it up a notch, I always add a few herbs. And if you reallllly want to heal, you gotta let the herbs sit. A Jas tidbitĀ for the day: The longer you let the herbs sit, the more healing they are.Ā š«šæ
One of my absolute favorite blends to end the day is simple, soothing, and perfect for a wind-down ritual. Hereās how I make it:
My Calm Me Down Tea Recipe
Ingredients:šµ 1 tsp chamomile flowers (relaxation superstar)š 1/2 tsp lavender buds (calming and aromatic)š 1 tsp lemon balm (stress relief magic)š§ 8 oz hot wateršÆ Honey to taste (optional but always a vibe)
Directions: Add the herbs to your tea infuser or tea bag. Pour hot (not boiling) water over them. Let it steep for 5ā7 minutes ā or longer. Remember: The longer you let the herbs sit, the more healing they are. Sweeten with honey if youāre feeling fancy. Sip slow. Breathe deep. Be still. š§š½āāļø
Why I Love It: This tea is my go-to for decompressing after long days, busy events, or whenever my mind is doing the absolute most.Ā Itās gentle, floral, and gives me permission to slow down and chill ā no guilt, no rush, just me and my cup. šš½āāļø
⨠Jas's Final Sip: Take 10 minutes for yourself tonight. Brew a cup, put your phone down, and let the world pause. You deserve that. š
"Be still, and know that I am God."Ā ā Psalm 46:10
